From Inland Fisheries Ireland Site :

Herman Wisse from Waginingen in Holland with his first Irish Bass caught on board Sea Hawk with Eire Bass Guide Richie Ryan yesterday. 5 lbs on the scales. The 3 Dutch anglers hooked up 11 bass in total during the session.

Pete Richards from Bristol, Cork Harbour, yesterday. 10.3 lbs on my new Ruben Heaton scales, bass returned safely. We were anxious to get Her back, dodgy to go ashore to weigh due to weather. He was not interested in claiming specimen award anyway. Check out brown sh… water !

From the IFI site ...

Bass, conger and pollack inside Cork Harbour – conditions poor!
August 16th, 2012 | by Myles Kelly
Bass Guide Richie Ryan “Eire Bass” reports on fishing in the Cork Harbour area in the past week.
Bella Vista self-drive boats were booked solid recently so owner Kevin Murphy asked Eire Bass Guide Richie Ryan to take two Dutch anglers bass fishing. Conditions were poor but as can be seen from the photo but Jan Cees Kuiken from Rotterdam managed to catch his first bass thanks to Richie’s expertise.
