Out recently with returning Dutch clients Ad and Cees Van Breugel.This fine 13lb cod was caught

by son Ad . He is 6ft 7 inches tall, so the cod might not look that big! Last year we had a huge amount of cod and dad Cees was nearly crying as each cod was returned to fight another day. The hotel can only cook so much fish for guests! You see, we catch more than bass at Eire Bass.

Lifter Victor Patterson .He was joined by his wife Della . From the outset there was serious pressure

on Richie because as the 2 Americans boarded the boat they announced their boat was bigger and that Victor had never blanked on a fishing trip in his life ! Considering the awful conditions, brown harbour water, they were very lucky to hook up a bass of nearly 4 lbs. The lure used was a Megabass X 140 and the couple went home happy. Inter Pub Competition

Out in Inter Pub angling competition on Sat.We fished on Pat Condon's boat Osprey 2.Great day.This fine cod was caught by Steve O Neill.

May 14th , last bass before the closed season. Roll on the 16th of June.
